Alisha is a practising Lawyer and Trade Marks Attorney at MacLean IP. She regularly advises clients on intellectual property related matters including disputes on copyright and trademarks, commercialisation and licensing of intellectual property assets. Alisha also assists start-ups to protect and leverage their intellectual property assets. Alisha is a skilled negotiator who is able to manage various stakeholder interests.
From a business and e-commerce perspective, Alisha has invaluable experience in understanding the practical relationship between business ownership, time constraints, budgets and intellectual property management. In that sense, Alisha applies a holistic approach to intellectual property with particular focus on the value-added benefits it may bring to your business.
Through Alisha’s work with her native title clients, she has developed an interest in intellectual property management in the commercialisation of both biodiscovery activities involving traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions.

Sue comes to MacLean IP with diverse practical experience including web design, small business ownership, e-commerce, marketing, brand development and web design.
Sue has an interest in online intellectual property management including domain name dispute resolution and social media branding. With qualifications and experience in marketing, public relations and law, Sue is able to approach intellectual property issues with an understanding of the need to simultaneously management intellectual property whilst building a brand and online presence.
Sue has completed the following courses with the World Intellectual Property Organisation:
Advanced Course in Intellectual Property Management (within the framework of the Advanced International Certificate Course)
Promoting Access to Medical Technologies and Innovation
